You can explane sustainability to children as following:
Sustainability is like being a superhero for the Earth and for fellow humans! It means doing things in our daily lives that help to protect the environment and make sure it stays healthy for future generations. This includes things like using energy responsibly, reducing toxic waste, and taking care of the animals and plants that live around us. By being sustainable, we're not only making the Earth a better place, but we're also generating a better future for ourselves and everyone else on planet earth. Here are four solutions that you can engage children in to help generate a more sustainable future:
Reduce, reuse and recycle
You can reduce waste in your their daily life, for example, when you eat something packaged, don't trow the package away instead trow it always in the trash. You can start by helping your parents in sorting the trash into recyclables and non-recyclables, and try to find new uses for items that would otherwise be thrown away.
Reduce energy consumption
You can help save energy at home and school, for example remind your parents to put the lights and electronics off at night when they from time to time forget to do that. Get used to wearing warm clothes when it's sometimes very cold instead of relying 100% on the heating.
Grow a garden
Encourage your family and your school to start a small vegetable or herb garden. This not only helps promote sustainability by reducing the carbon footprint linked to food transportation, but also teaches you and them about the importance of healthy eating and how food is grown.
Have fun
If you want to have a positive impact on the environment and society, you should first enjoy your life. Having fun, playing, training and laughing are good ways to contribute to the generation of a better future.

The water cycle is the way that water moves around the Earth. Water can be found in different forms like oceans, rivers, lakes, and even underground. Water can also be found as ice in glaciers, snow, and at the poles. Water can also be found as a gas in the air. The sun makes ice and snow melt into water that flows into oceans and rivers. The water from melting snow and ice also goes into the ground, where it helps plants grow and we can also drink it. When it snows in the winter, it replaces the water that melts in the summer and the cycle goes on.

Water is made of two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen. Water is important for life, it can help plants and animals grow and it is found in many places on Earth. People have always thought that water is special and has special energy. Some ancient cultures believed that water was the center of life and had special powers.
